OLLI Technology is a Vietnamese AIoT startup founded in 2016 by engineers with Silicon Valley and international tech backgrounds. After four years of R&D, the company launched OLLI MAIKA, positioned as the pioneer Vietnamese smart speaker: a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth device with its own voice assistant that understands regional Vietnamese accents. OLLI develops the core AI (speech recognition, language understanding, speech synthesis), the hardware and the embedded software in-house and manufactures the speaker in Vietnam. For the product launch, the company needed a website that would explain what MAIKA can do and present it as a modern, premium tech product.
Solution
We took the MAIKA website from first concept to a fully working product site. Rather than presenting a single option, we designed several complete visual directions, from a bright gradient style with fluid shapes to light minimal and dark premium versions, and developed them as well, so the client could compare real, working pages instead of static mockups.
- Designing several full-page concepts with different moods: colourful gradients, a clean light layout, a dark high-contrast style and a version with an exploded 3D view of the speaker’s hardware.
- Building a storytelling structure where each feature block shows a real-life scene with voice-command chat bubbles in English and Vietnamese, such as asking for the news, a playlist or a reminder.
- Designing a feature overview around the speaker (radio, music, news, calls, reminders, translation, calculator) and a specifications block covering the SoC, memory, 4-mic array, beamforming and 30W speaker.
- Developing the landing pages with a fully responsive layout, a language switcher and smooth interactions, keeping the visual style identical to the approved designs.
- Preparing developed versions of each concept so the client could choose the final direction based on how it looked and felt in the browser.
Impact / Result
OLLI received a modern product website that presents MAIKA as a premium, feature-rich smart speaker made in Vietnam. Every capability is explained through relatable everyday scenarios, the technical side of the device is shown clearly and visually, and the site works consistently in both languages on desktop and mobile.
Instead of one approved mockup, the client got several developed versions of the website to compare side by side in the browser. Our team covered both sides of the project, the UI/UX concepts and their front-end implementation, so each design idea was tested as a real, responsive page before the final style was chosen.
We predict a successful release and entry into the market, as the company's product is really high quality, and our team did everything possible to develop the website from scratch to demonstrate all the features of the speaker.
