Pro Lighting & Wireless Technology — Swedish manufacturer of W-DMX™ wireless DMX lighting control equipment for stage, architectural and event lighting (Sweden)
Wireless Solution Sweden is the company behind W-DMX™, one of the first wireless DMX technologies on the market. Since its first product launch in 2004, which won the PLASA Innovation Award, the company has grown into an international manufacturer whose transmitters and receivers are used in concerts, festivals, architectural installations and national celebrations worldwide, and are integrated by more than 40 OEM partners into their own lighting fixtures. With several product series, a large technical documentation base and a global dealer network, the company needed a website that could act as a full product and support platform for installers, dealers and OEM partners.
Solution
We built the website end to end in PHP, from the front-end templates to the back-end logic behind the catalogue, search, comparison and dealer tools. In total, the project covers 22 unique page templates, grouped into four large sections: Products, OEM, Explore and Help Center.
- Developing a product catalogue with series pages, product cards and detailed product pages including a photo gallery popup, specifications, documentation downloads, related products and a “Recently used in” block linking each device to real installation cases.
- Building a side-by-side comparison tool where users choose products from a dropdown and compare them by features, input protocols, range, radio technology and other technical parameters.
- Implementing a global wishlist available on every page, with the option to send the selected products to a dealer or save the list as a PDF.
- Creating a distributor locator with an interactive map, location search and filtering by store type.
- Developing site-wide search with tagged results, plus a help centre that combines FAQ, RMA, downloads, video library, developer and dealer sections and a contact form.
- Building the content sections: About with company history timeline, OEM partnership and OEM products, Cases with individual case pages, News, Articles and Exhibitions, all with a language switcher.
Impact / Result
Wireless Solution received a website that works as a complete product and support platform rather than a simple brochure site. Professionals can find, compare and shortlist equipment in a few steps, locate a distributor, download documentation and see how each product performs in real projects, all in one consistent, multilingual interface.
Most of the effort went into the parts that make the site behave like a tool: the comparison engine, the cross-site wishlist with PDF export and “send to dealer”, the distributor map and the links between products, cases and documentation. Front-end and back-end were developed together in PHP, so every template was delivered fully connected to its data and ready for content updates.
